MESSAGE FROM THE KENYA HIGH COMMISSION.

JAMBO AND KARIBU.

AMB. ISAIYA KABIRA

Welcome to the new look website of the Kenya High Commission in Canberra, Australia. The new website also coincides with the recent relocation of the Kenya High Commission Chancery from the town Center to the diplomatic enclave of O’Malley.

The two changes are meant to ensure that the Kenyan mission is better placed to deliver on its core mandate and serve the growing numbers of Kenyans and the many global citizens who have an interest and stake in the relations between Kenya and Australia and the nation of New Zealand that is served by the mission in Canberra.

I am happy to be joining a team of dedicated staff who have been serving in the mission. I have come to Canberra at a great moment as we strive to deepen the relations between our countries. It is my prayer that I shall succeed during my tour of duty in this modern country with a rich and diverse history.

This website is as much about you the visitor as it is about the work of the mission. Your feedback is therefore important to us.

We invite you to tell us what more you think we need to do to make it more functional and interactive. We therefore encourage you to be active on our forums.

We will also be sending out newsletters with news on what is happening both in Australia and New Zealand and back home in Kenya. We will also be having forums that help our citizens learn from each on their varied experiences.

Several links have been added to enable you easily access websites that are of interest to you be it consular services, trade and investments and tourism.

It highlights the Jubilee Manifesto that the Government of His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and His Excellency the Deputy President William Ruto is actively and progressively implementing.

Learn more about Kenya’s Foreign policy from the revamped website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade under the leadership of Amb. Amina Mohamed.

The website also celebrates Kenya’s rich and diverse history, entrenched democracy and smooth political transitions and transformational agenda of the Government.

Once again welcome to the new website and we look forward to a fruitful working relationship.

ASANTE AND GOD BLESS YOU.
