ATTENTION ALL KENYANS The Passport Control Office in Nairobi has advised that it will not be issuing the 'A' series (32 page) passport until further notice. Consequently the Mission will not be receiving any applications for the series. Series 'B' and 'C' (48 and 64 pages respectively) are however available. Any Kenyan wishing to apply for a new passport can submit an application for either 'B' or 'C' series. The Cost is as follows: 1. 48 pages - AU$ 82.00 AND PLEASE NOTE! The Department of Immigration has discontinued the renewal of passports after the first five years. All passport-holders whose passports expire after the initial five years will henceforth be required to apply for a NEW passport, with a validity of 10 years. To do this, applicants are required to complete the PP.1 FORM (Application for New Passport), in duplicate, and NOT the PP.3 Application for renewal of passport. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
